About

Our Mission

Unified Basketball, integrates unified kids and their peers in basketball games while not only allowing all kids to feel equal but also equally supported. The three Littleton High Schools have had Unified Programs for many years, but this year was the first year all four Littleton Middle Schools decided to adopt Unified Teams. As Arapahoe Students, some who have been involved in Unified Basketball Program at Arapahoe, we felt inspired to assist the new unified programs and encourage Arapahoe athletes to mentor the new Middle School Unified athletes.

About Us

Milana Rosazza

At Arapahoe High School I am involved in Unified basketball and kickball, where I work with athletes with intellectual disabilities. I am passionate about sports and want to give everyone the opportunity to play and get involved in a team. By working with the athletes at Arapahoe I became very invested in the program which inspired this project.

Carley Fagler

After Milana introduced this idea of getting involved with the unified programs in the littleton district, I became very passionate about how I could help. These students hold a very close place in my heart and anyway that I can be apart of making them feel more apart of and supported in their community I am all for.

Sophie Amsler

I have always wanted to get involved with unified and get to know some of the kids ever since my freshman year. I am excited to create a unified program with Newton and expose these kids to the program.

Madison LaBreque

My younger cousin that I am very close to has autism, and I have always been passionate about making him always feel welcomed and included. This project is a way that I can help others as well, and I would love to make a difference in just one of their lives and provide themselves with a good experience.
